Compared to news, shooting corporate video is usually a more relaxing work day. The best thing is the time involved when setting up corporate interviews. Often in news, you have a short time to set up, in a corporate environment, you’re able to have more time to set up. Set up often includes where you’re going to shoot the interview, what lights to use and also what grip equipment will be needed to aid in the lighting and how to shape the light. In this video montage of recent corporate interviews, you’ll see different lighting situations. Most lighting situations are in a standard room with a bookcase and shelf or maybe in front of a desk or in a conference room. Sometimes though, the client may want a different look. They may want a window in the background or something shot on a green screen where a background can be superimposed. Ben is very skilled in lighting no matter the environment. Watch this short montage and see for yourself.
