How cold is cold? In Atlanta, cold is the 40’s. In Minneapolis, they have a different definition of cold. Even the locals admitted that sub-freezing temperatures are cold! We had the pleasure of working with The Weather Channel and Mike Seidel and tailgating with Minnesota Vikings fans before their NFL playoff game with the Seattle Seahawks. The temperature at kickoff was -6, the third coldest NFL game of all time. Below is a live shot we had where we went in to a heated tent. It felt great! However, the lens started to fog up. When we popped back out, the condensation on the lens started to freeze. We had multiple live shots that morning but this one made for some interesting TV and this live shot& makes me cold just watching it again.
